TPM|MSNBC - Private Security Surge in Afghanistan

Basically, this was something a lot of people predicted in the lead up to a troop withdrawal. When the President announces that America's soldiers will come back home from war, people will be thankful for what appears on the surface to be an end to the war in the Middle East, when in reality the war will be taken over by private military groups staying there to ensure the corporations that sought to initiate and profit from this war are protected. Most people won't be aware of it because the cover story of American soldiers coming home will keep them pacified.

One year into his Presidency, pressure continues to fill the air around Obama.
Is it unreasonable for people to expect significant change this early into his presidency? It depends on who you ask, and what they'd like to see different.
Obama's popularity has dropped in recent months, and it's pretty understandable why regardless of whether you voted for him or not.

McCain-Palin Rally Incites Fear, hatred, and confusion; attendees believe Obama is a Terrorist (VIDEO)

The commentary contained within the video may or may not shock you, depending on what your expectations are of the intelligence level of the average McCain-Palin supporter.I certainly don't like to think this particular group of supporters' opinions represent the majority of supporters' views but it is certainly of interest to average Americans everywhere watching this election unfold and witness how far astray some people have gone in their convictions (on both sides). This particular video only highlights one of the obvious problems. Some people seem genuinely confused, and I understand their plight, but others have now turned hostile and I don't see how anyone can view the McCain-Palin campaign as not intentionally inciting fear and raw hatred, rather than curiosity and respect within the political process. They've mentally mollested their supporters and heavily polluted these political waters, which have grown more turbulent in recent weeks as we lead head first into the election next month. I proclaim the McCain-Palin campaign, along with their supporters have now gone into full kamikaze mode.Frightening to some, entertaining to others, but one thing I can assure you is that this is not the way it should be going. It just isn't right.

Turkish President: US Must Share Power in New World Order

Days after Russia scored a stunning geopolitical victory in the Caucasus, The President of Turkey said he saw a new multipolar world emerging from the wreckage of war. The conflict in Georgia, Gül asserted, showed that the United States could no longer shape global politics on its own, and should begin sharing power with other countries.

========C&S Comment=========

New World Order, something of interest and rarely spoken about in public between governing officials and the citizens is always a topic of interest here. Unfortunately,most people around the world don't know and/or don't care about NWO because it is frequently labeled as a myth, reserved only for people with tin foil hats deprived of their medication etc etc.What is the rationale behind a militaristically instilled NWO and the individuals who insist it is nothing to worry about?Problematic times, my friends, but there are solutions to ensure we need not worry. Though concern and critical observance is warranted, it's important to always remain practical when expressing concerns. Do not allow fear to take control.

[VIDEO] Detention camp Setup for DNC Protestors and Mass Arrests

Denver officials weren't planning to reveal details about where activists would be detained in the event of mass arrests during the Democratic National Convention until after the event had started, but those plans were quickly dashed this week when CBS 4News reporter Rick Sallinger not only revealed that protesters would be locked up in a city-owned warehouse, but he also obtained clear video footage inside the facility, a building that includes barbed wire-topped cages and signs warning of stun-gun use.
